The railroad museum is a railway museum in Onari-cho, Omiya ku Saitama-shi, Saitama ken. It was opened on the railroad day of October 14, 2007 as a main project of the East Japan Railway ‘s 20th anniversary commemoration project and as a substitute for the transport museum closed on May 14, 2006.

Kawagoe city Saitama prefecture is a hot spot now called “small Edo” as it relives the flourishing castle town Edo.
Kita is a temple of “Tendai-shu” in Kawagoe city, Saitama. The mountain name is Mt. Hoshino. It is known as the Kawagoe Daishi’s alias, ensuring good sources. Many of the buildings are designated as important cultural properties, and many valuable arts and crafts are exhibited in the temple treasures.
